Mutt-MultistreamPrivacy policy
Last updated 10 October 2026
Mutt-Multistream is a plugin that runs inside OBS Studio on your own computer. It has no servers of its own. This policy explains what information it uses and where that information goes.
Information the plugin uses
- Streaming settings that you enter, such as server addresses, stream keys, broadcast titles, descriptions and thumbnail images.
- YouTube, if you choose to sign in with Google: a sign in token for your YouTube account, and your channel name. The plugin uses this access to create live broadcasts and a reusable live stream, attach them to each other, upload a broadcast thumbnail, end broadcasts, and show which channel is signed in.
- Facebook, if you choose to sign in with Facebook: a sign in token for your account, your name, and the Facebook Pages you manage with their page tokens. The plugin uses this access to create and end live videos on the Page you choose.
Where it is kept
All of this information is stored only on your computer, in the OBS Studio configuration folder. It is never sent to the developer of Mutt-Multistream or to any third party.
Who it is shared with
The plugin communicates only with Google and YouTube, and with Meta, and only to carry out the actions described above. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
YouTube API Services
Mutt-Multistream uses YouTube API Services. By signing in to YouTube through it, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Mutt-Multistream's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access and data
- Sign out in the plugin to delete the stored tokens from your computer.
- Remove the plugin's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and to Facebook under Settings, Apps and Websites.
- Uninstalling the plugin offers to delete all of its saved settings, including stream keys and tokens.
