A plugin for OBS Studio that streams to several platforms at once.
Mutt-Multistream sends one OBS production to several streaming platforms at the same time, each with its own encoder, codec and quality. It was built for a church's weekly service stream, so that YouTube can receive AV1 at up to 4K while Facebook and other platforms receive H.264 at 1080p.
What it does
- Starts and stops every destination with OBS's own Start Streaming button.
- Applies each platform's published limits automatically.
- Signs in to YouTube and Facebook to create each live broadcast, with its title, description and thumbnail.
- Shows the health of every destination while live.
Signing in
Signing in to YouTube or Facebook is optional. When used, it lets the plugin create and end live broadcasts on the signed in account. How that information is handled is set out in the privacy policy.
